About the order
Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs all rate the same OVR this week; WS rank breaks a tie like this using each team's season résumé and a head-to-head pass, not alphabetical order. Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Indiana Hoosiers, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Alabama Crimson Tide all rate the same OVR this week; WS rank breaks a tie like this using each team's season résumé and a head-to-head pass, not alphabetical order. No. 4 BYU Cougars, ranked above No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, despite a lower OVR (93 to 94): WS rank blends OVR with résumé and head-to-head results, not raw rating alone.
