Heliot Ramos

Ramos grew up in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, the youngest of three athletic brothers — Héctor became the Puerto Rican national soccer team's all-time leading scorer, and Henry reached the majors as an outfielder. Watching Henry get drafted in 2010 is what made a young Heliot decide, in his words, 'it's my time, too.' The Giants took him 19th overall in 2017, and in 2024 he became the first homegrown Giants outfielder to make an All-Star team in 38 years. His mother has told him, 'I never told you, but you don't know how proud I am of you,' and in 2026 Ramos got to represent Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic on his home island.
